Current Category Generally booster seats are for children who weigh between 14 & 26kgs (approx.3-6 years) and restrain your child using an adult lap/sash seat belt. A booster seat raises the child so the seat belt is correctly positioned and the child can see out of the window. Most booster seats incorporate a sash locator guide to help position the adult seat belt in the correct position across the child's shoulder so it does not rub against the child's neck. For extra security consider purchasing a "H" harness which holds the child more secure than the sash belt. Especially if your child is in the lower weight range 14, 15, 16 kg.
